Supplier-level scorecard
Each supplier has its own scorecard in its ESS Hub workspace, published monthly.
Monthly ratingSupplier Quality · Performance
ESS Hub includes Supplier Scorecards to provide buyers with structured visibility into supplier performance within the wider supplier collaboration environment. Performance information can be reviewed alongside the supplier's quality, logistics and operational relationship.
Supplier scorecards help purchasing, logistics and quality teams evaluate supplier performance using consistent information instead of fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected reporting.
A supplier scorecard is a periodic, structured rating of a supplier's performance against defined indicators, shared with the supplier as the basis for supplier reviews and follow-up.
Concept
Supplier collaboration generates information across several processes: what was ordered and called off, what was shipped and when, which quality issues occurred and how they were resolved. A supplier scorecard brings the resulting performance indicators into one view of the supplier.
Capabilities
Supplier Scorecards are available in ESS Hub as part of the supplier performance and quality environment. The scorecard is a monthly supplier performance rating; the list below is limited to what the scorecard provides today.
Each supplier has its own scorecard in its ESS Hub workspace, published monthly.
Monthly ratingFour indicators: on-time delivery (OTD), PPM, ASN accuracy and 8D response time.
OTD · PPM · ASN accuracy · 8D response timePPM and 8D response time reflect the supplier's quality performance.
QualityOn-time delivery and ASN accuracy reflect the delivery and logistics side.
LogisticsA six-month trend of OTD and PPM next to the current month.
6-month trendIndicators are shown per plant, so a supplier delivering to several plants sees where performance differs.
By plantData flow
Supplier performance should stay connected to the operational supplier relationship it describes. In ESS Hub the scorecard is published into the same workspace in which the supplier confirms call-offs, creates ASNs and works on 8D reports. The indicator values are determined in the customer's performance measurement process; how the monthly values are provided to ESS Hub is defined in the implementation. ESS Hub presents the published rating — it does not compute the indicators in real time from the individual modules.
Supplier Quality
Supplier Scorecards sit alongside APQP, PPAP and 8D within the ESS Hub Supplier Quality environment, giving quality teams a broader view of the supplier relationship. PPM and 8D response time are the quality indicators on the scorecard. Whether and how APQP, PPAP or 8D activity feeds those indicators is defined in the customer's performance measurement, not by an automatic rule in the scorecard.
Logistics
Supplier performance also has an operational dimension. Two of the four scorecard indicators reflect it: on-time delivery (OTD) and ASN accuracy. Both relate to the logistics processes suppliers run in ESS Hub: confirming call-offs against scheduling agreements, creating advance shipping notices with packaging and handling-unit information, and the documents and labels that travel with the shipment.
Quantity accuracy, delivery-reliability scores and logistics incidents are not separate indicators on the ESS Hub scorecard today; the operational records themselves — call-off status, shipment status, ASN acknowledgement — are visible in the logistics areas of the platform. Trend
The scorecard shows the current monthly rating together with a six-month trend of on-time delivery and PPM, so supplier and customer see whether performance is improving or deteriorating rather than judging a single month. The indicators are also broken down by plant.
What the scorecard shows in ESS Hub today:
Longer histories and quarter views are not part of the scorecard; the monthly publication is the unit of comparison.

Visibility
In the current product the scorecard is a supplier-facing view: each supplier sees its own monthly rating, the six-month trend and the per-plant breakdown in its ESS Hub workspace — and only its own, because supplier workspaces are separated. The values are published by the customer; suppliers do not edit them.
Enterprise users follow the operational side of supplier performance in the ESS Hub Control Tower: inbound shipments, unconfirmed and overdue call-offs, open tickets and read-and-confirm status per supplier. A buyer-side comparison of scorecards across suppliers is not part of ESS Hub today.
Platform
Supplier Scorecards are part of the same supplier collaboration platform as procurement, logistics, quality and finance. Each area keeps its own process and records; what they share is the supplier context, the workspaces and one sign-in.
Record
A supplier review based on spreadsheets and e-mail first has to reconstruct what happened. A scorecard published monthly into the supplier's workspace gives both sides the same numbers, the same trend and the same per-plant view as the basis for the review, next to the call-offs, shipments and quality records the numbers refer to.
Platform-wide, enterprise administrators have an audit trail of actions in the portal, and business records carry their status and dates instead of being reconstructed from mailboxes. Infrastructure-level logging and compliance topics are covered in the vendor assessment.
